China Glaze Ruby Pumps, Holly, and a Christmas Tree

Happy Holidays all!

J and I finally decorated our skinny little tree, after which I painted my nails and watched a Food Network Challenge Christmas Special (and he snuck off to watch football).  So through decorating the tree, listening to some Christmas tunes, and watching a Christmas-themed show, I was finally starting to feel in the holiday spirit.  I feel like Christmas has just snuck up on me this year and for the first time in my life, I am completely unprepared for the holiday!  Yikes.  But I wanted to share my holiday-inspired nails in gorgeous China Glaze Ruby Pumps:

As you can probably see, I started out by doing red tips.  But when I tried to line them in silver, I just wasn't loving it, so I painted them all red -- except my ring finger, where I painted a little holly berry and leaf bunch.

This isn't the most lovely mani, since there are two coats on my tips and one on the rest of my nails, but I still thought they were cute enough to share.

Here is our little tree!  We got a fake one this year, because by Christmas last year, we had more pine needles on the floor than on the tree (no joke) and the real tree cost almost as much as this fake one.  Plus, this one is so cute and fits into our little corner so well!
